    Youth Pastor

After 12 years at Gethsemane as the Student Minister for Aftershock I am honored to be named the Pastor of Gethsemane Church Seaford. As I have said, "Gethsemane is a church for the people, by the people and our purpose is to love God, love people, and so stuff in the name of Christ." If it is your first time visiting please email me with any questions or concerns. You can always check us out on facebook if you would like to check out a service before attending.

I am married to my beautiful wife Amanda and we have three children named Gia, Gabe, and Luke. I am also a school counselor at West Seaford Elementary and have been in education for 16 years.

We have a great group of folks in leadership to help meet our members need throughout the week. Please contact our phenomenal administrative assistant, Jane, and she can get in you in touch will some one right away.

Lay Leadership Positions

The laity (or lay persons) in the local church are those persons who are not clergy (pastors). The vast majority of people in the local church are obviously lay people. It's not just the pastors that are called to be ministers of the good news; we are all called to use our gifts to be a part of God's work in the world. We are grateful for the laity in our church that serve in a variety of roles. Some of those roles include:

Lay Leader: Donna Cranston

Church Council Chair: Karen Dodd

Committee on Finance Chair: Kathy Davis

Staff-Parish Relations Chair: Valerie O'Day

Trustees Chair: Tracey Wootten

Worship Design: Sheila Fooks

Youth Ministry: Jordan Forston
